1. Initial requirements

The Editorial Board will accept only those works which constitute the result of an individual creativity of an Author or Co-authors.

Author is obligated to include a statement by e-mail that the work does not infringe the rights of third parties.

It is necessary that the Author or Co-authors attach personal note as well as provide information whether the work has already been published in its original form.

Personal note should contain the following information:

- Name of the author;

- The status of science with an indication of the Academy or by function or occupation with the full name of the individual.

Note personnel may include the following:

- Brief biography of the author;

- Contact information;

- PH.D. students and students can identify additional year and field of study.

 

2. Technical contents
Works should be saved in only one of the following file types .doc ; .odt ; .rtf.
Font: Times New Roman, 12 points, line spacing- 1,5, margins: 2,5×2,5 cm.

Standard amount of signs:
a) articles: 20.000 – 42.000 signs with spaces and footnotes (7-20 pages A4),
b) current news – 2.200 signs … (1 page),
c) glosses – 18,000 signs … (6-8 pages),
d) feature articles – 5.000 signs … (2-3 pages),
d) reports – 2.900 – 5.800 signs … (1-2 pages),
e) reviews – 7.500 signs … (3-4 pages).

Each work should be preceded by the following elements:
– an abstract (up to 600 signs),
– key words (3-5),
– title.

The text should be aligned.

4. How to quote ?

Consequent quoting of the same work of the same author right after the work: Ibidem, p. (optionally)

Consequent quoting of the author: General rule applies.

In case of consequent citation of the works of the same author: General rule applies, the titles are quoted up to the appearance of a difference.

Direct quotation: Quotation marks («xxx.»)

Direct quotation of a whole sentence: Period should be placed before the closing quotation mark. Otherwise, the period should be placed after the quotation marks.

Author’s remarks: Square brackets with the author’s initials.

Foreign words or expressions: In italics on condition that the expression is not a loan or a borrowing. De minimis

It is important to note the difference between dash and hyphen: dash – used as a punctuation mark and in dates as well as number of pages, e.g. p. 161-163; hyphen – used in the double-barrelled surnames, e.g. Bień-Kowalski.
Numeration and/or enumeration should not be introduced manually.
If the author’s initials consist of two names, the space should not be introduced between the two letters,
e.g. J.B. Nordemann.
